Admission Process
The Institute's brochure and application form can be obtained by :
Cash payment of Rs. 1000/- or by Post (enclosing demand draft for Rs. 1050/-) drawn in favour of Ramesh Chand Institute of Management Payable at Ghaziabad.
Download Registration performa from www.rcim.co.in and submit the same with a DD of Rs. 1000/- drawn in favour of Ramesh Chand Institute of Management Payable at Ghaziabad.
Eligibility
PGDM:
The programme is targeted at individuals with high potential for success in business and industry. Such individuals must have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent (under 10+2+3 system) with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from a University recognized by UGC/AICTE.
Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor's degree are also eligible, provided they complete all formalities of their examination before June 30, 2010. Such candidates will be offered provisional admission only.
BBA/BCA:
The programme is targeted at individuals with high potential for success in business and industry. Such individuals must have successfully completed intermediate with minimum 45% marks from any recognised Board /University.
Selection Process
Admissions are made on the basis of merit, based on:
Valid score in the written admission test CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA.
Past academic record/work experience and Performance in Group discussion and personal interview.
Candidates are required to submit a copy of the score obtained in CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA
Ramesh Chand Institute of Management (RCIM) uses CAT score for short-listing candidates, and IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
Registration
All students are required to register in person/through website. The student who fails to register will not be admitted in the programme.
Attendence
It is mandatory for the students to be regular and punctual in all the classes without exception. Individual faculty members may, at their discretion, assign some weightage to attendance and class participation in the evaluation of the course. In such an event, absenteeism on the part of the student may adversely affect both the components, namely, "attendance" and the consequential "class participation", if any.
Students should ensure that the attendance requirements, as specified by the concerned faculty are met no matter whatever may be the other compulsions. The faculty may insist that the students should attend a minimum number of sessions in his course. The faculty will be free to adopt any measure to regulate attendance, penalize absence, and ensure smooth and undisturbed learning in the class.
For all absence, prior intimation is to be given in writing to the course coordinator who will put it up for approval to the appropriate authority. Any leave without written intimation will be treated as unauthorized leave and will be reflected in the records as such.
Application Submission
The complete Application form must reach the institute on or before the date specified.
Admission Offer
Final selection will be based on a careful evaluation of the applicant's academic record, work experience, entrance test score, group discussion and personal interview score. Successful candidates will be informed of their final selection. The selected candidates deposit their first fee installment within two or three weeks of receiving the admission offer, failing which the offer will stand withdrawn.
